INSTALLING ACCESSORIES TO THE LIGHT BAR MOUNT

Remove the Light Mount Top Plate (see Fig. 5) and install the
Light Bar (or other permanently mounted accessory) to the
Mount Plate of Light Bar Mount.

NOTICE: Ensure that no

hardware protrudes more than 3/8" beyond the bottom of
the Mount Plate. The Light Bar Mount Plate comes with an
array of existing holes.

You may need to modify these or drill

new holes to attach your accessory.

a.

Direct wiring the Light Bar or other accessory

i.

Drill the hole for wire/cable access from the top centered

in the middle of plastic surface of the Light housing to
accommodate the cable. See Fig. 8. Make sure the chosen
hole location for cable entry will not interfere with 3rd Brake
Light attached.

NOTE: Determine hole size and the best

location. For the best results, use a RTV sealant (not
provided) to prevent water intrusion around the drilled
hole and cable.

ii.

Feed the wire from the Light Bar or accessory through

the Light Bar Mount Plate, through the hole drilled into the
plastic Light Housing, and into the truck from the top. Feed
cable  inside the truck frame opening and extend it to light
controls.

iii.

Once everything is aligned and the wire is positioned as desired

and the Light or accessory is functioning properly, secure Light
Bar Mount Plate using six #10-32 x3/8 screws (Fig. 8).

b.

 Using prewired auxiliary plug

i.

Feed the wire with plug from the Light bar or accessory

through the Light Bar Mount Plate oval hole and into the
provided notch (Fig. 9). Side Plate has to be removed
temporarily to allow wire with plug routing. Re-install plate
when finished.

ii.

Once everything is aligned and the wire is positioned as

desired and the harness is routed into the truck thru door
or window, the Light or accessory is functioning properly,
secure Light Bar Mount Plate using six #10-32 x3/8 screws
(Fig.8). Be sure to tighten all hardware firmly.

4 original mounting screws. See Figure 10, 11.

9.
