5) Units-Yards/Meters
By default, the distances displayed on the yP GPS are
in yards. To change the distance units to meters, select
“Units” from the
Settings
page and press enTer.
Select “yards” or “meters” by pressing UP or Down,
then press ENTER to confirm and return to the Settings
page menu.
6) Time Set
Although the unit automatically sets the clock display
based on time data transmitted by the GPS satellites,
this is based on GmT time, therefore you may need to
adjust it if your area has changed to Daylight Savings
Time (DST). Select “Time Set” from the
Settings
page
and press enTer, then use the UP and Down keys to
increase or decrease the time in hour increments. when
finished, press ENTER to lock in the time and return to
the
Settings
page menu.
7) Unit Info
Select “Unit Info” from the
Settings
menu and press
enTer to view the Software/hardware version #s and
Unit Serial # if this information is needed for maintenance
or troubleshooting reference. Press enTer again to
return to the
Settings
page.
