Positioning the Party Speaker

It is important that you consider carefully in advance where your Party Speaker will be
situated and make sure that it is:

•  on a flat and stable surface.

•  in a well ventilated, cool, dry, clean place - away from direct sunlight, heat sources,

vibration, dust, moisture and/or cold. For proper ventilation, allow the following
minimum clearances around the product of:

Top: 10 cm (4 in)

Rear: 10 cm (4 in)

Sides: 10 cm (4 in)

•  at least 1 metre away from other electrical appliances to avoid interference.

•  where it will be in range of the connected or ‘paired’ bluetooth device (e.g. iPod/

iPhone/iPad/Android/other phone/computer, which is about 10 metres or less (33 feet
or less) in line of sight.

•  where the mains power socket and power plug can be reached easily and the power

cable is not a trip hazard

•  Never place your Party Speaker directly onto antique or polished surfaces.

Power connection

Your Party Speaker has an integral 12V/2600mah rechargeble lead acid battery, which
enables you to use your product for a period of approximately 5 hours without a mains
power connection.

Before first use, we recommend that you fully charge the lead acid battery so that it’s
ready to use when you need it.

1.

Connect the mains power lead into the socket on the back, at the top of the Party
Speaker and plug the power adaptor into the mains power wall socket and switch on.

2.

The red battery charging LED in the Party speaker display will light up, to indicate that
the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged the red LED will turn off.

Note:

It willl take approximately 3 hours to fully charge your Party speaker integral

battery. You can still use your Party speaker on mains power, whilst the integral battery
is charging but the charge time will then be longer.

3.

Press the power switch on the back of the Party speaker at the top to On. The product
will switch on, ‘Hi’ will be displayed followed by ‘-bt-’, a bluetooth icon will flash to
indicate that you Party speaker is searching for Bluetooth devices.

Changing the mode

Your party speaker has 4 modes, Bluetooth, FM Radio, Aux in and USB play.

1.

Short press the

Power/Mode button to change between Bluetooth, FM Radio and

Aux in modes. To use USB Play mode, just plug a USB stick into the USB PLAY socket.

USB Play socket

With your Party speaker you can play MP3, WAV and WMA music files directly from a USB
stick.

Note:

When you plug a USB stick into the USB PLAY socket, it will directly override the

product mode selection.

With your Party speaker in any mode:

1.

Plug the USB stick with the music files into the USB PLAY socket. The files on the USB
stick will begin to play.

Note:

Remember to remove the USB stick from the USB Play socket after use.

USB 5V/1A Charge socket

You can charge mobile devices that have a USB charging cable (not supplied), using the
USB 5V/1A charge socket.

Note:

You can use the USB charge socket to charge other mobile devices when the

Party speaker is connected to Mains power or is being used in battery mode.
