POWER SUPPLY
MAIN SUPPLY
Insert the AC adaptor into a 230V-240V AC ~ 50Hz mains outlet and the
other end of the cord into the
DC 5V
jack on the back of the unit.
BATTERY BACKUP
The clock time and alarm (if set) can be maintained during a power failure
by 2 x AAA/ LR03 batteries (not supplied).
Once the power is restored, check the time to make sure it is accurate and
re-set if necessary.
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
1.
Open
the
battery
compartment
at
the
bottom
of
the
unit
by
pressing
on
the
catch
and
removing
the
cover
.
2.
Insert
2
x
AA
A
/
LR
0
3
batteries
(
preferably
alkaline
batteries
)
into
the
battery
compartment
,
following
the
polarity
as
shown
on
the
diagram
inside
the
compartment
.
3.
Replace
the
battery
compartment
cover
.
SETTING THE CLOCK
1. Press and hold the
TIME
button(11) and the hour/minute digits will flash.
2. Use the
HOUR
button(9) to set the hours. The
PM indicator
(1) will light
when the hour is advanced into the PM time.
3. Use the
MINUTE
button(10) to set the minutes.
4. Press the
TIME
button(11) to confirm.
SETTING THE ALARM
Before setting the alarm time, make sure the clock has been set.
1. In standby mode, press and hold the
ALARM 1/2
button(6,7), and the
hour/minute digits will flash.
2. Set the alarm time by repeatedly pressing
HOUR / MINUTE
button(9,10).
Note
: Press and hold HOUR/MINUTE button (9,10) respectively for fast
advance.
3. Repeatedly press
ALARM 1/2
button(6,7) to select the desired alarm
mode (buzzer or radio). The corresponding
ALARM 1/2
buzzer and/ or
radio indicator(2,3) will light up on the LED display.
4. Disabling alarm functions, press the
ALARM 1/2
button(6,7)
repeatedly until the buzzer and/or radio indicators have disappeared.
