Do not use indoors! This barbecue is designed for outdoor
use only. If used indoors, toxic fumes will accumulate and
cause serious bodily injury or death.
Only use this barbecue outdoors in a well-ventilated area.
Do not use in a garage, building, breezeway or any other
enclosed area.
Do not use this barbecue under any overhead combustible
construction.
CAUTION!
Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or re-
lighting!
Only use fi relighters complying to EN 1860-3.
Improper assembly may be dangerous. Please follow the
assembly instructions in this manual.
Do not use the barbecue unless all parts are in place.
Do not use gasoline, alcohol or other highly volatile fl uids
to ignite the charcoal. If using charcoal starter fl uid, remove
any fl uid that may have drained through the bottom vents
before lighting the charcoal.
Do not add charcoal starter fl uid or charcoal impregnated
with charcoal lighter fl uid to hot or warm charcoal.
Cap starter fl uid after use, and place a safe distance away
from the barbecue.
You should exercise reasonable care when operating your
barbecue.
The barbecue will be hot during cooking and should never
be left unattended during use. Do not touch the metal-parts
or the ash-tray when hot!
WARNING!
Keep children and pets away. Do not leave
infants, children or pets unattended near a hot barbecue.
Do not use this barbecue within fi ve feet of any combustible
material. Combustible materials include, but are not limited
to wood or treated wood decks, patios and porches.
Do not remove the ash until the charcoal has completely
burned down and is fully extinguished and the barbecue
has cooled down.
Never dump hot coals where they might be stepped on or
be a fi re hazard. Never dump ashes or coals before they are
fully extinguished.
Keep the cooking area clear of fl ammable vapor and liquids,
such as gasoline, alcohol, etc., and combustible material.
This barbecue is not intended for and should never be used
as a heater.

HELPFUL HINTS
Preheat your barbecue carefully (small fl ame), so no cracks
occur. When preheating your barbecue to quickly cracks
can occur. Especially in damp weather (wet concrete), this
point is observed.
If slight cracks do occur, safety and functional
impairments are not be feared as all parts are steel
reinforced. Such cracks do not constitute a reason
for complaint.
The surface of your barbecue can be cleaned with either a high
pressure power washer, or diluted bleach and coarse brush.
To clean the stainless steel components, we recommend
commercially available polishing pastes.
Do not overheat the barbecue!
The barbecue is made for usage of charcoal only! Do not use
more than 10 lbs of charcoal at one time!
Use only recommended starter fl uid or kindling!
Since stainless steel can oxidize, please use a cover to protect
your barbecue.
