Releasing the lock by swiping IC cards

Precondition

On the home screen of the outdoor station, tap "

 ", followed by [#] [*] [engineering

password] [#] to access the "Settings" screen.

On the "Settings" screen, complete the following settings:

"Access control">>"Card mode">>"Safe mode">>"On"

If "Safe mode" = "On", this outdoor station will only support IC cards with a token.

"Access control">>"User card">>"Enrol"

Swipe the IC cards on the specified area (see the diagram below) to register them.

"Access control">>"Card setting">>"Unlock type when swiping"
–  Select a lock type e.g. "Default lock" or "Subsidiary lock", if "Unlock manually" is

selected, you can select a lock type to release on a pop-up window each time when you
swipe the IC card on the specified area.

Note

It is recommended that IC cards are created and maintained only using the local
outdoor station or only using the management software.
