Attaching the Mounting Rails to Your Bicycle Seat

1. Remove the Mounting Rails from the Mounting Block by depressing the front face of the
Mounting Block [Figure 8a] and simultaneously pull the Mounting Rails out of the Mounting
Block [Figure 8b].
NOTE:
Pull both Mounting Rails from Mounting Block at the same time for smooth removal.
2. Remove the bolt connecting the Base Plate to the Bicycle Seat by rotating it counter-clockwise
using the included Hex Wrench [Figure 9].
3. Flip the Base Plate away from the Bicycle Seat and remove it from the slots on the underside of
the Bicycle Seat [Figure 10].
4. Pass the Mounting Rails through the 2 holes between the legs of the Bicycle Seat [Figure 11].
NOTE:
The orientation of the Mounting Rails should be such that they are bending downwards
[Figure 11].
5. For initial setup, align the Mounting Rails with position #3 on the underside of the Bicycle Seat
[Figure 12].
NOTE:
These 3 positions are for adjusting the horizontal position of the Bicycle Seat. See
“Checking the Position of the Bicycle Seat” (Page 14) for further details.
6. Insert the metal Base Plate [Figure 13a] into the slots on the underside of the Bicycle Seat
[Figure 13b], and flip it closed [Figure 13c].
7. Re-attach the bolt by rotating it clockwise using the included Hex Wrench [Figure 14a] until you
cannot rotate it anymore.
CAUTION: This step is extremely important for the safety of the child.
