Access to parameters (Read / Write)
Some relevant acyclic parameters have been defined for preconfigured gateways which can be read directly
with the
Logix Designer
and partially overwritten - described below in chapters “15.20.1 Parameter –
and
“15.20.2 Parameters – writing via Logix Designer”
The
Bürkert Communicator (Type 8920)
also makes it easy to read out the parameters and change the
values (see “15.20.3 Access to parameters via Bürkert Communicator”
or in the software manual for the
Bürkert Communicator - see chapter “4.3 Information and instructions on the Internet” on page
).
In addition to these relevant acyclic parameters, further values and statuses for acyclic parameters of the büS
devices connected to the gateway can be read out and partially written/overwritten - see “15.20.4 Access to
further parameters (cyclic and acyclic)” on page

Parameter – reading via Logix Designer

Open the project (e.g. “Logix Designer - Gateway_Type8681”)
→
According to the path (I/O Configuration / Ethernet / Gateway ...), open the desired gateway and
select the “Parameters” tab. In “Group” select <All Parameters>, all relevant predefined param
-
eters are displayed for each control head (scroll down to see the data of the other control heads).

EDS with other predefined parameters available on request.
