Set of Wearing Parts 2. Valve
• When planning the application of the device, and during its
operation, observe the general technical rules!
• Take suitable measures to prevent unintentional operation or
impermissible impairment!
• Note that lines and valves must not be unscrewed from systems that
are under pressure!
• Always switch off the voltage supply before working on the system!
• If this information is ignored, or if unauthorised work is carried out on
the device, we will not accept liability of any kind, and the warranty will
no longer be valid for the unit and its accessories!
• Warning! The surface of the electromagnet can become very hot
during continuous operation. Danger of injury!
To ensure that the device will function correctly, and have a long
service life, please comply with the information in these Operating
Instructions, as well as with the application conditions and
permissible data given in the Type 5413 data sheet:
Read the voltage, electrical power, type of protection and
current from the rating plate!
Voltage tolerance: ±10%
• Clean the piping system before installing the valve!
• Do not cover up the vent ports, but protect them from penetration by
dust, water and foreign bodies!
• Pay attention to the correct flow direction (direction of arrow)!
• Do not interchange the 1 and 3 ports!
• Connecting the pressure lines: maintain the min. clearance width of
6 mm! Max. tightening torque 8 Nm, for models without MS sockets,
3 Nm; max. thread lengths 12 mm; avoid tapered threads; seal the
threads with PTFE tape.
• The valves can be fitted with M6 screws (max. tightening torque
2.5 Nm).
• Block assembly: Fit the valves using M5x60 screws (max. tightening
torque 8 Nm). Seal off ports 1 and 3 with O-rings 11x2.5.
• When tightening the pipe connections, never use the valve as a lever!
• Be careful of distortion when installing the valve body!
• Attention: Jammed coils can cause coil overheating with AC!
• Faults can be caused by soiling, short circuits and loss of power!
• In case of faults, check the port connections, voltages, type of current
and operational pressure!
Work on the valve should only be carried out by specialist staff
and with the correct tools!
Servo-assisted 4/2 way seat valve with magnetic drive and
servo-piston
• Coil can be locked in 4 x 90° steps, in between which it can be freely
positioned around the armature guide tube
• Tightening torque of the fixing screws: max. 5 Nm
• Can be mounted in any position
• Valve operation G: service port 1 normally connected to 2 when
inactive.
• Media: filtered compressed air, lightly oiled
• Minimum difference pressure 1 bar
• Max. temperature of medium and surroundings: + 50°C
• The coil heats up during operation
• Port connections are compatible with previous model 413
• Electrical power connection: Instrument socket type 2508 to the tag
connections on the coil (protection class IP 65); tightening torque:
1 Nm
• When screwing down the instrument socket onto the coil, ensure that
the flat seal is well seated!
