Power unit on; Wait 30 minutes to allow it to heat up completely

Using the thermometer probe, measure the air temperature by turning the probe on it’s side
to sit approximately 3/8’ above the sorting tray surface in the following three locations:

Wait for temperature to stabilize

Record each temperature reading as required in the Quality Checks Log, if the temperature is
not compliant with the target temperature of 160°F (+/-)10°F, wait 30 minutes and repeat
steps 2 and 3
