ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Step 3:

Once all of the fasteners are in place and hand tight, use a 9/16” box end

wrench and a 3/16” hex wrench to tighten all fasteners to approximately 30 lb./ft.
in eight places. The rack is now ready to be mounted onto its mounting surface.

Step 4:

(A

) The position for optimal placement of your Burco® V-rack is shown above.

The rack performs best mounted offset from the center of the vehicle. The shorter base
section of the rack should be positioned toward the vehicle’s center line. This positioning
utilizes the taller roof and will allow the rack to accommodate larger windshields.

(B)

 Use

a tape measure to mark the center of the mounting surface. Once the rack is positioned
where you would like it, use a marker to mark these six drilling locations. READ STEP 5
PRIOR TO DRILLING.
