7.10.1

Adjusting the compression of the Suntour fork

Alternative

The compression adjuster makes it possible to make
quick adjustments to the suspension behaviour of the
fork to suit changes in terrain. It is intended for
adjustments made during the ride.

Suntour compression adjuster with the OPEN (1) and LOCK (2)
positions



Compression damping is lowest in the OPEN
position, making the fork feel softer. Use the LOCK
position if you want the fork to feel stiffer and you
are riding on soft ground. The lever positions
between the OPEN and LOCK positions enable fine
adjustment of compression damping.

We recommend setting the lever of the compression
adjuster to the OPEN position first.
