Checking and setting the clamping force of the
quick releases
If the clamping lever cannot be moved into the final
position just by pushing it with the hand, or if it is too
loose, its clamping force will need to be readjusted.
The clamping lever is completely open.
Turn the setting nut a little.
Clamp the clamping lever.
Repeat the steps until the proper angle has been
achieved.

The clamping lever is completely open.
Push the axle into the hub as far as it will go.
Align the clamping lever.
Close the clamping lever
The final position of the clamping lever is forward,
parallel to the fork.
