Suspension fork
9.1.8.1 Rebound too fast
The suspension fork rebounds too quickly,
producing a “pogo stick” effect, where the wheel
lifts from the ground in an uncontrolled way. This
impairs traction and control (blue line).
Fork head and handlebars are deflected upwards
if the wheel bounces back from the ground. The
rider's weight may be shifted up and back in an
uncontrolled way (green line).

Solution
Figure 100: Turning rebound damper towards tortoise
symbol
Turn the rebound adjuster clockwise to reduce
the rebound speed and increase traction and
control.
