Close the upper mold closure mechanism.

 Power OFF the unit.

The SimpliMet XPS1 is ready for use. 
 

Note:

 For information about how to close the mold 

mechanism, refer to the Operator’s Manual.

In order to remove the containment cover for 
maintenance or mold cleaning, open the upper 
mold closure mechanism and then lift the rear 
corners of the cover.  Reinstall the cover before 
use. 
 

WARNING

!

 

We strongly recommend that this containment cover 
remain in place at all times during operation of the
