z Take the boiler out of operation, see box 43, 44 or 47.

z Pull out the plug of the glow ignitor (item 1).

Set the multimeter to “measure AC voltage”.
Minimum measuring range: 230V AC.
z Put the boiler into partial-load or full-load operation,
see box 13.

Check to see whether, with the operating code
C [0c]
110 - 230 V AC is measured at the plug.

Take the boiler out of operation, see box 43.
z Connect the plug of the glow ignitor.
z Put the boiler into operation, see box 54, 55 or 51.

Remove the plug of the glow ignitor, see box 131.

z Check to see if the electrical resistance of the glow ignitor
lies between 50 and 300

Fit the casing and place the boiler into operation,

CAUTION!
To prevent damage, do not insert the measuring
electrodes of the multimeter too far into the holes of the
plug-and-socket connection.

Take the boiler out of serve and tip the DBA control panel
forwards, see box 43, 44, 47 or 63.
z Loosen the six screws and remove the rear section,
see box 70.
z
Remove the plug of the glow ignitor, see box 131.
