Servicing manual Gas condensing boiler Buderus 500-24/S, 500-24/C and 500-28/C • Issued 02/2006
box 67
z
Set the multimeter to VAC. Minimum value: 250 V AC.
z
Disconnect the 230V AC plug (item 1) from the fan.
z
Attach the multimeter to the two outer contacts (blue and
brown) of the fan connection plug.
z
Start system at full load, see box 54, 55 or 13.
z
Check whether, with operating code
C
[0c]
active, there
is a voltage of 230 V AC at the two outer contacts (blue
and brown) of the plug.
box 68
z
Take the electrical system of the boiler out of operation,
see box 43 and 44.
z
Insert the fan connection plug.
z
Refit the casing and place the boiler into operation, see
box 51, 53, 54 or 55.
box 69
Check fan – power supply cable (230 V AC)
H
DANGER OF FATAL ACCIDENT
due to electric shock
A
CAUTION!
To prevent damage, do not insert the measuring
electrodes of the multimeter too far into the holes of the
plug-and-socket connection.
z
Take the boiler out of service and tip the DBA control panel
forwards, see box 43, 44, 47 or 63.

box 70
z
Loosen the six screws and remove the rear section.
box 71
z
Disconnect the 230V AC plug (item 1) from the fan.
z
Set multimeter to “measure resistance”.
z
Check the power supply cable of the fan for breaks.
The electrical resistance measured at each individual wire
must be approximately 0
Ω
.
z
Check the power supply cable of the fan for internal short
circuits. The level of electrical resistance, measured
between two wires chosen at random, must be infinitely
high. See also box 287.
box 72
z
Insert the fan connection plug.
z
Refit the DBA control panel, following the above
procedure in reverse order.
z
Refit the casing and place the boiler into operation,
