7 Trouble shooting
In case of a whistle (Larsen effect), first reduce the microphones
, power, adjusting the corre-
sponding potentiometers with a screw driver, until an acceptable level is reached. Should the
whistle persist, adjust the loudspeakers
volume in order to eliminate the trouble.
If the volume is too low level then, increase first the potentiometer of the loudspeaker and se-
condly the one for the microphone, bearing in mind that a clear and noise free reception is
preferable than one just before whistling (Larsen).
