Switch the answering machine ON/OFF
1. Press
and release
to switch ON or OFF.
If you hear
“Answer on, your outgoing message is....”
the answering machine is switched on and is ready to
answer incoming calls and record any messages.
The display on the base shows the number of messages
stored in the memory.
If you hear
“Answer off”
the answering machine is
switched off.
The display on the base unit will flash between a dash
and the number of messages saved in the memory.
Base loudspeaker volume
You can adjust the base loudspeaker volume from
0
(volume off) to
9
, plus
H
(maximum volume).
The default level is
5
.

to increase the volume or Vol
