Converse 300 until you've read this page.
Fit the batteries
To
get'the best use out of your Converse 300,
you must fit the batteries.
•
Make sure the phone is unplugged
•
Remove the plinth by pushing it up and away
from you (see diagram A)
•
Open the battery compartment
(see diagram
B)
•
Put in three good quality
AA
(HP7, R6B,
MN1500,
LR6,
UM3) batteries, as shown
inside the compartment, and close the lid
•
Attach the plinth by pushing it down until it
clicks into position
You must set the Mode switch
For your Converse 300 to work properly, you
must first set the
MODE
switch (see diagram
C).
If you are on a modern exchange,
se
t
it
to
T-TB.
Otherwise set it to
P-E. T-E
is only used when
your Converse 300 is connected to certain
switchboards. Page
