Specify your serial port
You will be shown a dialogue box asking you
to confirm which serial port you are using. All
details have been filled in except the serial
port. Click on the down arrow, to see a list of
available port numbers (1 to 4). Select the
appropriate number as required; this may vary
between different computers.
If unsure, use number 1. It is easy to change
this later if necessary by selecting
APPLICATION
, then
SERIAL PORT SETUP
from Callscape’s main menu.
You are now ready to start using Callscape.
You can change your selections at any time from the
APPLICATION
menu on Callscape’s main screen.
If Callscape reports that it cannot find the
hardware, first check all wiring connections, and
ensure the red light is on. Then try selecting other
values for the serial port number.
