7.3 End of life cycle and disposal
In the European Union, this marking indicates that electrical devices
must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations
regarding environmental protection.
To protect the environment, disposal of this equipment must comply with the
appropriate disposal procedures:
• The refrigerant gas must be collected by specialised technicians and sent to
a collection facility.
• The compressor lubricating oil must also be collected by specialised
technicians and sent to a collection facility.
• The heat pump casing and the other parts, if they are not repairable, must
be disassembled and sorted by type of material (copper, aluminium, plastic,
etc.) and sent to collection facilities.
