Temperature Units.
The sample changer is typically used with two temperature units
(sold separately):
–
TC3 Temperature Unit
:
One, two, or three discrete zones hold samples at a fixed
temperature.
–
TC6 Temperature Unit
:
Each of the six zones can hold 10 samples at a user-defined
temperature.

4.3
Optional Accessories
The following optional accessories are available:
•
Safety Barrier
: The optional
reduces the possibility of a person or
other objects coming in contact with the moving arm and gripper of the sample changer.
•
Balance Adapter Kit
: Allows a laboratory balance to be integrated on the rear of the
sample stage.
4.4
Chemical Compatibility
Sample changer components are made of corrosion‑resistant stainless steel alloys or
anodized aluminum. The enclosure and base are made from a high‑strength aluminum alloy
that is treated with a RoHS-compliant Chem Film and finished with an epoxy powder coating.
The sample changer operates reliably under a wide variety of conditions. Wetted components
are made of Polyetherimide (PEI) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and can withstand
repeated exposure to oils and common organic solvents such as acetone and alcohols.
