3) Aim the radar beam at the centre of the test zone (that is, the intersection of the test
track’s centre line and the line 00´ connecting the Microphones). We recommend
that you use the test vehicle (or another object) as a reference point during setup and
that you aim the Radar Unit at this point.
Connect
a
Weather
Station
1) Place the Weather Station in a location away from buildings or other structures that
may effect temperature and windspeed readings (ambient free-field conditions)
and also sufficiently far enough away from the test track so as not to be affected by
the passage of vehicles along the test track.
2) Plug the LEMO to RS-232 connector from the Weather Station sensor into the PoE
Connection Box.

3) Plug the supplied LAN cable into the RJ45 socket on the rear of the front end’s frame.
Switch the
PoE supply
to the socket you have chosen to use (see Fig.3.6). Plug the
other end of the cable into the PoE box of the Weather Station.
