3. STARTING THE DEVICE
Battery installation
Note: To avoid operating problems pay attention to polarity of alkaline batteries at inserting them (wrong polarity of
batteries may result in a permanent damage to the device).
Open the battery cover on the base station.
Put three AAA (LR03) batteries.
Close the battery cover.
The thermometer will show temperature in degrees Celsius once it is started.
4. PROGRAMMING FUNCTIONS
Setting the time
Press SET, the hour digits will start flashing on the display.
Press UP or DOWN to set the hour.
Press SET, the minute digits will start flashing on the display.
Press UP or DOWN to set the minute.
Press SET, the figure standing for the year starts flashing on the display.
Press UP or DOWN to set the year.
Press SET – the digit standing for the month will start flashing on the display.
Press UP or DOWN to set the month.
Press SET – the digit standing for the day will start flashing on the display.
Press UP or DOWN to set the day.
Press SET to confirm the settings.
Setting the alarm
Press AL, next press SET, hour digits will start flashing on the display.
Set the required hour pressing UP or DOWN.
Press SET again – the minute digits will start flashing on the display.
Press UP or DOWN to set the minutes.
Press SET the figure standing for the snooze activation interval will start flashing on the screen.
Press UP or DOWN to set the snooze time.
Press SET, digit number indicating the tunes starts flashes on the display
Press UP or DOWN to select a tune.
Press SET confirm the settings.
Press AL button to return to the normal display.
Switching on/off the alarm
To switch on the alarm, press AL, and then press UP, bell symbol will appear on the display.
Press UP to activate snooze, „z
z
”
symbol will be shown on the display.
Press once again UP to deactivate alarm, symbols will disappear on the display.
Press AL to return to the normal display mode.
Touch and press the upper part of the weather station during the system activation will switch on the
snooze. The snooze signal will be repeated in pre-determined intervals unless it is previously deactivated
with button AL.
Display backlight/ Switching on sounds of nature
The backlight will be on during function setting. Pressing any button will turn the backlight on for about 10
seconds.
To turn on/ off the display backlight and the last set sound, press the top part of the weather station.
Backlight colours will change cyclically for 10 minutes and sound will be turned on.
A countdown will be displayed. After 10 minutes, the weather station will automatically stop emitting
sounds and the backlight will turn off.
Press button SET for the station to return to the normal display mode, otherwise the station will return to
the normal display mode after a minute.
Every time the top part of the weather station is pressed, it will turn sound on/ off and change to the next
sound.
Selecting the temperature display unit (°C/°F)
Press DOWN to set the required temperature unit: degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit (°C/°F).
Precautions:
Do not expose the device to strong vibrations and mechanical strain.
Avoid sudden and dramatic temperature changes (direct sunlight, low negative temperatures).
Clean the casing and the display with a soft and slightly wetted cloth.
