Remove footwear before stepping on the scale, to avoid scratching the glass plate.

Wet glass plate may be slippery, so make sure both the plate and your feet are dry

Use a soft cloth and a glass cleaner to remove dirt. You must not use soap or
other detergent.
Protect the weight from water, as well as extremely high or low temperatures.

The scale is a precision measurement instrument – it should not be jumped,
or stomped on. Do not disassemble the scale.
