Reset the Printer
Reset the internal memory of your printer to delete the data transferred from a computer or mobile device, or if
the printer is not operating correctly.
Reset All Settings to the Factory Settings Using the Printer Buttons
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press and hold the Feed button
and the Power button
for about two seconds.
3. While holding down the Feed button
, press the Power button
two times, and then release the Feed
button
.
The Power Indicator starts flashing in orange
.
4. Do one of the following:
•
Press Feed button
three times to reset the printer's device settings to their factory settings and
delete all the data transferred to the printer.
•
Press Feed button
four times to reset the printer's communication and device settings to their factory
settings and delete all the data transferred to the printer.
Reset Data Using the Printer Setting Tool
You can use the Printer Setting Tool from a computer to:
•
Delete the templates and databases
•
(PJ-862/PJ-863/PJ-883) Reset communication settings
•
Reset all printer settings to the factory settings
