Scan using your computer

To scan using your computer, launch a TWAIN-compatible application on your computer, such as DS Capture 
or Adobe

®

 PhotoShop

®

. This guide uses DS Capture as an example.

Scan with DS Capture

a

Confirm that the machine is connected to your computer via a USB cable.

Double-click the 

DS Capture

 

 icon on your desktop.

DS Capture

 launches.

Change the scanning settings, if needed.
For more information on changing settings, see 

Change scan settings using the TWAIN driver

 on page 63.

Set your document in the ADF.

Click 

Scan

 in the DS Capture screen.

Your scanner starts scanning. The scanned image will be saved in the directory you specified in the 

File

 tab.
