When using a computer to perform the installation

While pressing the “Automatic Threading”
button, turn the sewing machine on.

Plug the USB cable connectors into the
corresponding USB port connectors for the
computer and for the machine.

Removable Disk appears in Computer (My
Computer) .

Copy the upgrade program downloaded in

to the Removable Disk .

• Do not connect any additional USB media devices to
your computer when using the USB cable.
Note
• The “Connected to PC. Do not disconnect the
USB cable” . message appears on the sewing
machine LCD screen.
Note
• When the message “Upgrade complete.” appears,
installation of the upgrade program has been
completed.
(If an error occurs, a message will appear in red.)
