The model of Fax-878 is represented to indicate the illustration and description
1. LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) 4. Dial Pad
Displays messages on the screen to help you set up
and use your fax machine.
Use these keys to dial telephone and fax numbers
and as a keyboard for entering information into the
fax machine.
The # key lets you temporarily switch the dialling
type during a telephone call from "PULSE" to
"TONE" (not available in New Zealand).
2. One-Touch Keys 5. Recall
These 6 keys give you instant access to 12 previously
stored Quick-Dial numbers.
Use this key to gain access to an outside line (for
Australia and New Zealand only) and/or to recall the
operator or transfer a call to another extension when
it is connected to a PABX.
3. Shift 6. Search/Mute
To access One-Touch numbers 7 to 12, hold down
Shift as you press One-Touch key.
Lets you look up numbers stored in the dialling
memory, lets you put calls on hold and lets you dial
stored numbers by pressing # and a two-digit
number.
