The "1:MO 2:CO 3:CHG" appears on the LCD. This menu is for checking scanning clocks at
the factory. Skip this menu and call up the CIS travel menu by performing steps (2) through (4).
(2) Enter 1 by using the and
Set
keys.*
The "LED PWM: " appears.
(3) Press the
Set
key.
The "G PULSE: " appears.
(4) Press the
Set
key.
The "1:WHT 2:FRT 3:MV" appears on the LCD.
NOTE:
Entering 1 may call up the debug screen to be used at the factory. Display the
"1:WHT 2:FRT 3:MV."
(5) Enter 3 using the and
Set
keys.*
Press
the
Set
key to move the CIS unit to the scanning end position.
Entering 1 or 2 moves the CIS unit to the white-level reference film position or the scanning
start position, respectively.
(6) To stop the CIS unit, press the
Stop/Exit
key.
The machine returns to the initial stage of the maintenance mode.

The "0:C 1:RS 2:Q" appears on the LCD.
(3) If the CIS unit is CCI type, press the

key; if it is ROHM type, press the
1
key.
Upon completion of the entry, the machine returns to the initial stage of the maintenance mode.
DCP340CW
(1) Enter 5 and 9 in the initial stage of the maintenance mode by using the and
Set
keys.*
(*To enter a numerical code on models having no numerical keypad, press the key several times to
display the numerical code to be entered and then press the
Set
key. Repeat this operation for each
numerical code.)
The "1:MO 2:CO 3:CHG" appears on the LCD.
(2) Enter 3 using the and
Set
keys.*
The "0:C 1:RS 2:Q" appears on the LCD.
(3) If the CIS unit is CCI type, enter 0; if it is ROHM type, enter 1, using the and
Set
keys.
Upon completion of the entry, the machine returns to the initial stage of the maintenance mode.
