Appendix D - Warranty and Repair Service
Brookfield Viscometers are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase against defects in materials and
workmanship. They are certified against primary viscosity standards traceable to the National Institute
of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.). The Viscometer must be returned to AMETEK Brookfield or to
the authorized dealer from whom it was purchased for a warranty evaluation. Transportation is at the
purchaser’s expense. The Viscometer should be shipped in its carrying case together with all spindles
originally provided with the instrument. If returning to Brookfield, please contact us or go on-line for
a return authorization number prior to shipping.
