1. Determine hole positions according to left and right
positions of the installation plate. The hole centre is obtained
by measuring the distances as shown in the diagram above.
2. Drill the pipe exit hole with a
65mm hole saw.
Ø
3. Drill the piping hole on either the left or right side and as required,
the hole should be slanted downwards towards the outside.
4. Always take steps to protect the pipes when drilling through
metal plate, solid structures or the like.

Please read these safety precautions carefully before undertaking installation
Please be sure to follow the precautions as listed below, they are important for ensuring your safety.
This symbol indicates the possibility of death or serious injury.
This symbol indicates the possibility of injury or damage to property.
1) This equipment must be properly earthed and installed with a circuit breaker. Electrical shock may
result if earthing is inadequate.
2) Do not install the unit in areas where leakage of flammable gases may occur. If gas leaks are allowed
to accumulate around the unit, it may cause fire.
3) Install condensate drain piping as described in the installation instructions. If drainage is insufficient
water may leak into the room and damage furniture and fixtures.
1) Install strictly in accordance with these installation instructions. If installation is defective or incomplete,
it may cause refrigerant or water leaks, electrical shock or fire.
2) Use the supplied accessories and specified parts for installation, otherwise it may cause the unit to fall,
leak water, electrical shock or fire.
3) Install in a strong firm location, sufficient to withstand the units operating weight. If the mounting is
insufficient or incomplete, the unit may fall and cause damage and/or injury.
4) Electrical installation must follow all local state and national wiring standards and regulations. A
separate and independent electrical circuit and single outlet must be used. If electrical circuit capacity
is insufficient or electrical connections are defective, it may cause electrical shock or fire.
5) Use the specified cable and ensure connections are tight. Clamp the cable so that no external forces
can be placed on the terminals. If connection is inadequate, it may cause overheating and failure.
6) Wiring routing must be properly arranged so that the control board cover is fixed properly. If the cover
is not fixed properly, it may cause overheating at the connection point and fire or electrical shock.
7) When carrying out refrigerant pipe connections, ensure that no air or other contaminants can enter
the refrigeration circuit. Otherwise, it may cause performance issues, abnormally high pressures
in the refrigeration cycle, possible explosion and/or personal injury.
8) Do not modify the length of the power supply cord or use an extension cord. Do not share the
electrical outlet with other electrical appliances. Otherwise, it may cause fire or electrical shock.

NOTE:
Before performing any electrical work, turn off the mains power to the system.
1. The inside and outside connection cables can be connected without removing the front grille.
2. The indoor power cord type is H05VV-F or H05V2V2-F, the outdoor power cord and
interconnected cord type is H07RN-F.
3. Lift the indoor unit panel up, remove the electrical box cover by loosening the screw.
4. Ensure the colour of wires and the terminals of the outdoor unit directly match those
of the indoor unit exactly.
5. Isolate any disconnected wiring, ensure that they cannot touch any other electrical components
or connections. Secure the cable with the cord clamp.

1. Fit the installation plate firmly on the
structural parts of the wall with spaces
around the installation plate shown.
2. If the wall is made of brick, concrete
or the like, drill the 5mm diameter
mounting holes in the wall. Insert the
clip anchors for appropriate mounting
screws.
3. Fit the installation plate on the wall
with the type A screws.
Drill the holes and mount the installation
plate in accordance with the wall
structure and the corresponding mounting
points on the installation plate. The
installation plates provided with the
units differ from unit to unit depending
on the size. (Dimensions are in

Electrical safety considerations prior to initial Installation
1. If there is a serious safety issue regarding the power supply, the installer should stop the installation of
the unit, fully explain the situation to the client and delay installation until the issue is resolved.
2. Power supply voltage should be in the range of 90% - 110% of the rated voltage.
3. A circuit breaker and mains power switch 1.5 times capacity of the maximum current of the unit shall be
installed in the power circuit.
4. Ensure the air conditioner is earthed correctly.
5. Wire the unit in accordance with the attached Electrical Connection Diagram located on the inside of the
panel of the outdoor unit.
6. All wiring must comply with all relevant local and national electrical codes and shall be installed only by
suitably qualified and skilled electricians.
7. An all-pole disconnection device which has at least 3mm separation distance in all poles and circuit
breaker shall be incorporated in the fixed wiring according to the local and national wiring standards.
8. A separate dedicated circuit and single power outlet must be used for this system.
