ome vehicle seat covers made from sensitive materials (e.g. velour, leather, etc.) may develop
wear marks when child seats are used. This can be avoided by placing a blanket or towel
under the child seat.
8. INSTALLATION INSIDE THE VEHICLE
The child seat must not be used on seats with activated front airbags (mortal danger for the
child)!
The seat must only be installed facing backwards in the vehicle.
8.1 Place the car seat onto the vehicle seat facing backwards and against the backrest of the
vehicle seat. (Fig. 8.1)
8.2 Slide the vehicle’s lap belt through both lap harness belt guides (F) at the foot area of
baby’s car seat. Fasten the seat belt with the seat buckle with clear “click”. (Fig. 8.2)
8.3 Place the diagonal belt in the diagonal belt guide (L) at the back of the car seat.
Be sure that the handle is locked and firmly against the backrest of vehicle’s seat. (Fig. 8.3)
8.4 Tighten the vehicle’s 3-point harness by pulling hard liked shown in Fig. 8.4.
The vehicle safety belt must be pulled tight and must not be twisted. Never swap the shoulder
and lap straps of the vehicle’s safety belts.
ATTENTION!
Figure 9 shows how the seat buckle CANNOT be.
9. REMOVING THE COVERS FOR CLEANING
IMPORTANT:
The cover is a safety feature. NEVER use the car seat without it.
CLEANING:
The seat covers can be removed easily for washing.

he cover can be machine-washed with a mild detergent, at 30°C.
Don’t wring, spin, or iron the seat covers.
Clean plastic shell of the booster seat by wiping it with, a damp cloth.
The harness may be cleaned by sponging lightly using warm water and a mild detergent.
Plastic and metal parts may be sponged clean with warm water and a mild detergent.
Never clean with abrasive, ammonia based, bleach based or spirit type cleaners.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
Your child car seat has been designed to meet safety standards and with correct use and
maintenance will give many years of trouble free performance.
Storing a damp child car seat will encourage mildew to form.
After exposure to damp conditions, dry off with a soft cloth and allow to dry thoroughly before
storing.
Store your child car seat in a dry, safe place.
Do not leave the child car seat in sunlight for prolonged periods - some fabrics may fade.
This child car seat requires regular maintenance by the user.
DO NOT take apart, or attempt to take apart, any of the harness when cleaning the harness
and seat. It is unnecessary and dangerous to do so.
Food and drink may find their way inside the buckle of the harness. This can stop it working
properly.
Clean the harness buckle with mild hand soap and water. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Latch and unlatch the tongues of the buckle several times until a strong click is heard. If you
cannot hear a strong click run it under warm water to rinse again.
If the harness/ vehicle belts becomes cut or frayed, replace it before travelling.
