8. Use your free
hand to open one
strap and put
baby’s first leg
through the gap
between you and
the strap.
9. While support-
ing baby’s body,
use the other
hand to open the
opposite side’s
strap and put
baby’s other leg
into the gap
between you and
the strap.
10. Spread the
fabric of both
straps, covering
baby’s bottom,
torso and shoul-
ders.
11. The horizontal
cover (B) hangs
down in front of
you and baby. Lift
it between baby’s
legs.
12. Wrap the
horizontal cover
around baby and
you with & tie a
double knot at
your back.
13. Ensure baby
is in a comfortable
and upright
position and that
baby’s airway is
unobstructed.
