filter

(optional

F7 Pollen filter

can be inserted

here)

Filters must be cleaned frequently
approximately every 2 months (depending
on usage), and should be replaced every year
to guarantee proper operation of the
ventilation system and to ensure good air
quality. This is especially important in a new
building.

There are two standard filters in the unit,
one to filter the incoming air (bottom slot) to
ensure good internal air quality, whilst the
other filter  (top slot) protects the heat
exchanger.
An optional F7 Pollen filter may be fitted in
the bottom slot (replacing the standard
filter).

On the display or on the 4-way switch of the
Brink HRV you will get a signal when the
filters should be cleaned. A red LED-light on
the switch will show     and the letters FILTER
will appear on the unit display .

After cleaning the filters or the fitting of new

filters, reset the filter indication on the front of

the appliance.

The display flashes shortly to confirm the filter

indication is reset. After this procedure, the

display is back in position.

Cleaning of the supply or extract valves with

soap and water should be done on a regular

basis depending on their condition.
