Variable Temperature Kettle
•
The kettle’s Keep Warm function will automatically maintain the desired temperature
for one hour.
◦
The LCD Readout (10) will continue to show the actual water temperature.
◦
Once the Keep Warm cycle is complete, the LCD Readout will show the actual
water temperature for the next 10 minutes of inactivity before the base
enters Sleep Mode.

To stop the heating cycle, press the Power icon (12) again or lift the kettle from its
base.
•
After 10 minutes of inactivity, the base will enter Sleep Mode.
4) Selecting the Temperature Display, Fahrenheit or Celsius:
•
When the base (7) is powered on and the kettle is on the base, press and hold the
Temperature Setting icon (17) for 3 seconds to access the temperature unit setting.

Press the [ + ] or [ - ] icons [(19) or (18)] to toggle between Fahrenheit and
Celsius.
◦
After 3 seconds of inactivity, the last selected unit of measurement will be
stored, even if the base is unplugged.
◦
For USA and Canada models, the default temperature unit for your Brewista
Artisan Kettle is Fahrenheit (°F). For models in the rest of the world, the default
temperature unit is Celsius (°C).

Setting the Temperature
IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ:
At higher altitudes, water boils at lower temperatures.
Refer to the chart on page 13 of this manual that lists the approximate boiling temperature
for various elevations.
Brewista kettles use proprietary adaptive safety software that monitors the temperature
at which water reaches a boil. Once the boiling temperature has been determined
by the kettle, it will not exceed that temperature. When this function is activated,
manually selected and preset temperature readings higher than the determined boiling
temperature will be replaced with the word “boil” on the LCD readout. Refer to page 13
for instructions to disable this software.
Unplugging the base will reset the boiling temperature. Once the kettle is plugged in and
set to boil, the adaptive monitoring process begins again, and the maximum temperature
will be adjusted to the boiling point for the elevation at which the kettle is being used.

Selecting a Preset Temperature:

will flash. Press the Temperature Setting icon again to toggle through the
preset temperatures (see below):
