spicy thai marinade
fresh red chillies, stalks removed
stalks lemon grass
1 small onion, peeled and cut into
quarters

small handful coriander
ml (1tsp) table salt
1 whole black peppercorns
juice of ½ lime
60ml (tbsp) oil
oriental ginger and sesame marinade
1 clove garlic, peeled
spring onion, cut in half
1cm (½”) piece root ginger, peeled
ml (tbsp) soy sauce
1ml (1tbsp) sesame oil
10ml (tsp) sherry vinegar
large pinch ground turmeric
ml (1tsp) tomato puree
1ml (1tbsp) fresh orange juice
enough for 0g (1lb)
of beef or chicken
1. Place all the ingredients in your blender
jug. Attach the jug to the base and lock
the lid in place.
. Next press the Chop button and simply
wait. Your blender will stop automatically
and the red indicator light will go out
when the program has finished.
. If necessary, scrape down the sides of
your blender and repeat the chopping
process until the marinade is fully mixed.
