This child car safety seat has been designed
and approved for children from birth to a
weight of 18 kg.
It has a double standard approval
ECE R44/04:
GROUP 0+ (from birth up to 13 kg weight).

installed in the backseat of the car.

This is a “Universal” child restraint. It is ap

proved to Regulation No. 44, 04 series of
amendments, for general use in vehicles
and it will fit most, but not all, car seats.

A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufac
-
turer has declared in the vehicle handbo
-
ok that the vehicle is capable of accepting
a “Universal” child restraint for this age
group.

This child restraint has been classified as
“Universal” under more stringent condi
-
tions than those which applied to earlier
designs which do not carry this notice.

If in doubt, consult either the child restraint
manufacturer or the retailer.
WARNING
It’s important to respect the correct steps
when fastening the seat belts. Do not use any
load bearing contact points other than those
described in the instructions and marked in
the child restraint.
The car seat can be installed on the front pas

senger seat if it is fitted with a 3-point seat
belt (see possible positions on page 2)
It is not possible to install the car seat on a
central front passenger seat.
GROUP 0+
POSITION
When the child weighs less than 9 kg
the
child car seat can only be used in the rear
-
ward facing position
.
The child car seat must be fixed to the car
seat through the three-point safety belt nor
-
mally provided in every car.
IMPORTANT!
When the child is in rearward facing posi
-
tion, use ONLY the adjusting position n°5.
When the child is in forward facing position,
use ONLY the adjusting positions from 1 to 4.
To avoid improper use, please adjust the pas
-
sage of the lap part of the car seat belt fol
-
lowing these instructions in the right order:

Place it on the passenger seat rearwards
facing
-
Put the lap part

of the car seat belt into
the proper seats placed on the base of the
child car seat as shown in pic.3.

Unroll the car seat belt completely and
place the diagonal part
(D)
in its housing,
placed on the side of the car seat, as in pic.

Fasten the car seat belt into its buckle, pic.5

Push the child car seat against the back rest
of the passenger seat and make sure that
the car seat belt is well tightened and not
loose, fig. 6

GROUP 1
POSITION
WARNING: Do not use in forward facing po

sition until child weighs more than
9 kg.
When your child weighs more than 13 kg,
the
child car seat must be used in the forward
facing position and only on the rear passen
-
ger seat.
The car seat must be secured to the seat by
the three-point seat belt provided in each
vehicle.
The abdominal part of the seat belt
(A)
must
be placed in the back of the car seat base (see
fig.8), while the diagonal part
(D)
will have to
go through the housing located on the side
(see fig 9).
Only at this stage the child can be placed in
the car seat, following the procedures descri

bed in the section
“HOW TO FIT YOUR CHILD
INTO THE CHILD CAR SEAT”.
HOW TO ADJUST THE SEAT IN
DIFFERENT POSITIONS
The seat reclines into 5 different positions.
The seat reclines by pressing the lever under
the front part of the child car seat (see fig.10).
Adjustment operations may only be carried
out when the child is not in the product. When
the child car seat is in the position required,
make sure that the position-selector locking
pin is inserted in its seat.
IMPORTANT! When the child is in forward
facing position, use ONLY the adjusting posi
-
tions from 1 to 4.
HOW TO FIT YOUR CHILD INTO
THE CHILD CAR SEAT
The tension of the child car seat belts can be
adjusted using the belt locking lever.
Before placing your child in the seat, push on
the “Press” area (there is a lever) and pull both
the shoulder belts (fig.11).
Place your child in the car seat, pass the belts
