3. In areas with a high mineralization, beep tones may sound even if there is no metal. In this case,
lower the sensitivity level and increase the height between the search coil and the ground until the
wrong signal disappears.
8 Setting up power supply
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert battery(ies) into the battery compartment. Ensure that the battery polarity (+/-) is correct.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

1 On / off power switch: To turn the metal de-
tector on or off. The detector is ready for oper-
ation after 2 seconds.
2 UP / DOWN buttons: To navigate up or down
in the menu.
3 Menu button: To select a menu item.
4 PINPOINT button: To find the exact location of
the target being detected (only available in
ALL METAL and GND BAL mode).
5 ZAP button: Move over an unwanted metal ob-
ject and simply press ZAP to hide/ignore this
kind of object from detection.
6 + / - buttons: Increase or decrease value.
