• Please do not insert or take out the SD-card when the
power switch is at
ON
position.
• It is recommended to use the camera to format the SD-
card when used for the first time.
• The camera will be in USB mode when connected to a
USB port of a computer. In this case, the SD-card func-
tions as a removable disk.
• In the
TEST
mode, the camera will shut down automati-
cally after 3 minutes if no operation is done. Please turn
on the power again if you want to continue to work with
the camera.
• Please ensure sufficient power when having firmware
upgrade, otherwise the upgrade process could be inter-
rupted incorrectly. If any fault occurs after improper up-
grading process, the camera may stop function properly.

3. Main operations
3.1 Power supply
The observation camera operates on 6V DC voltage. Power
can be supplied using batteries* (4 or 8 x AA batteries) or
via an external power adapter*.
ATTENTION!
This observation camera cannot be operated simultaneous-
ly with batteries and a power adapter. This could lead to
irreparable damage to the device; the manufacturer is not
liable for this damage.
Battery Operation
Release the casing latch and open the observation camera.
Insert 4 or 8 AA batteries* into the battery compartment.
Ensure that the poles of the batteries (+/-) have been cor-
rectly positioned, as indicated in the battery compartment.
Note:
We recommend using high-quality alkaline or lithium
batteries. The battery charge is shown by the battery icon at
the bottom of the preview and navigation screen.
