4.3 Function check/-test
Important: The function test must be performed
weekly.
Place a moist cloth on a level surface. Set the water
flow detector down on the moist cloth. As soon as
all three sensors touch the cloth, the alarm should
sound. When you lift the water flow detector up
again, the alarm should stop immediately.
5. Maintenance
The water flow detector is largely maintenance
free except for changing the battery. When a tone
starts sounding once every minute, the battery is
nearly dead and needs to be replaced immediately.
This warning continues for a period of 7 days
before the battery is completely discharged.
After this, there is no more power supply.
Perform a function test after replacing the battery.
