The crown has two positions:
1. Winding position
2. Time-setting position
Starting the watch
Crown in position 1 . This position
allows you to wind the movement. To
start the watch, wind it fully by turn-
ing the crown upwards (
▲ ▲
) until
resistance is felt. ON NO ACCOUNT
FORCE THE CROWN. Thereafter, wind
the watch daily, preferably at a regu-
lar time.
Procedure to follow when start-
ing the watch
– Set the watch temporarily, making
sure the hour and minute hands are
positioned outside the 22-to-02-
hour (10 p.m. to 2 a.m.) zone.
– Set the watch to the correct month.
– Set the date, day and moon-phase
indications to the preceding the
current date.
– Conclude this temporary setting by
the crown, advancing he date past
midnight to ensure a proper pas-
sage from a.m. time to p.m. time.
