Common problems
Symptom
Power isn’t switched ON.
The unit doesn’t operate.
Operation with the remote control isn’t possible.
Playback is not possible.
There is no sound.
The prohibited mark is displayed and operation
is not possible.
The pictures pauses; the unit cannot be operated.
There is no sound.
The player skips audio or video.
The picture is deformed.
Cause
Leads and connectors are incorrectly connected.
A fuse of power cable has blown.
Outside factors causes unit to operate incorrectly.
Battery power is low.
Some operations are prohibited with certain discs.
The disc is dirty.
The loaded disc is a type this unit cannot play.
Non compatible video system disc is loaded.
The speaker connections are incorrect.
With some discs, 96 kHz output is prohibited.
The unit is performing as F.FWD or F.REV playback.
The operation is not available.
The operation is not compatible with the disc.
Can´t read data during playback.
Volume level is low.
This unit is not firmly installed.
The disc is dirty or damaged.
The aspect setting is incorrect for the display.
Remedy
Ensure that all connections are correct.
Replace the old fuse with a new one with the same
capacity; try to determine the cause of the problem.
Reset unit by pressing RESET with the tip of a pen.
Load new batteries.
Check using another disc.
Clean the disc.
Check the disc type with the Technical Specifications.
Change to a disc compatible to your video system.
Check speaker connections (or the connection with
an amplifier if used).
Switch the output setting to 48 kHz.
There is no sound during F.FWD, F.REW playback
This operation is not possible.
This operation is not possible.
Press STOP once, start playback once more.
Raise the volume level.
Check that the unit is installed firmly.
