apply the device perpendicular to the patient’s breast

do not lift the patient’s breast;
•
do not move the device across the patient’s breast, instead
hold it firmly in one place (
see Fig. 8
);
•
do not move the device away until instructed to do so;
•
keep the grip pressed as long as the examination is in
progress;
•
do not touch the breasts during the examination and make
sure that the patient also does not touch them.
