SHUT-DOWN  AND  DISMANTLING

• The dismantling of  the machine must be done by authorized personnel only. For this purpose, the power
cord  must  be  disconnected,  and  substances  which  are  potentially  harmful  to  the  environment  must  be
legally  and properly disposed of.
• Place the machine in  a suitable place,  out of  the reach of children or unsuitable people.

According to art.13 concerning  the decree law dated July 25 2005 no. 151 “Application of Directives 2002/
95/CE,2002/96/CE  and  2003/108/CE,  regarding  the  reduction  of  dangerous  substances  in  electric  and
electronic equipment and the refuse dismantling”.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM

Grinder will not start:

unplug the grinder and make sure the sheet 
(4) is opened.

coffee jammed in grindstones

unplug the grinder, clean the grindstone box 
and adjust for a coarser grind.

obstruction and/or foreign 
obejcts in grindstones

unplug the grinder, close the sheet (4) and 
remove the hopper; unscrew grinding 
adjustment dial and remove the foreign 
object.

Metal scraping sound:

grindstones touch each other 

turn off grinder, adjust for a coarser grind 
and turn on grinder.

The waste separation of the present equipment when come to the end of its life is organized and controlled
by  the  manufacturer.  The  user  who  wishes  to  eliminate  of  the  present  equipment  will  have  to  contact  the
manufacturer and apply the system chosen by the manufacturer  in order to allow the separated collection
of  said  equipment.

The  correct  separation  for  final  equipment  recycling,  treatment  and  dismantling  allows  to  avoid  possible
negative  effects  on  environment  and  health  and  encourages  the  recycling  of  materials  which  compose
the  equipment.

The  unauthorized  dismantlingof  the  product  involves  the  application  of  administrative    sanctions  foreseen
by  the  existing  set  of  rules.
