USING YOUR APPLIANCE

The instructions for appliances intended to be used with a device
connector plug equipped with a thermostat must indicate that
only the suitable device connector plug must be used.

If the symbol
IEC 60417-5041(2002-10) is present on the
appliances, its meaning must be explained.
CARING FOR AND CLEANING YOUR APPLIANCE

Cleaning and maintenance operations must not be carried out by
children without supervision.
•
If precautions are necessary during maintenance by the user, the
relevant details must be provided.
•
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
cable or special set available from the manufacturer or its after-
sales department

If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales department or a similarly qualified
person, so as to avoid danger.

The power cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged,
dispose of your appliance.

WARNING: In order to avoid any danger due to the untimely
reset of the circuit-breaker, this appliance must not be connected
through an external switch, such as a timer, or connected to a
circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the electricity
supplier.

The instructions for appliances equipped with a connector base
and intended to be either partially or fully immersed in water for
cleaning must indicate the following:

The appliance plug socket must be removed before cleaning the
appliance and the connector base must be dried before using the
appliance again.
•
The instructions must include detailed information on how to
clean the surfaces in contact with food.
