SAFETY INFORMATION
- This product is not a toy.
- Do not leave the cuckoo clock anywhere humid, hot or dusty.
- Do not shake or drop the product; this could cause damage.
- When the cuckoo becomes silent or a hand is slow, please change the batteries.
- Do not mix old batteries with the new.
- Please remove the batteries before storing the cuckoo clock for a long time.
INSTALLATION / OPERATING MODE
- The cuckoo comes out of the window and goes “cuckoo” every hour from 6:00 a.m
to 9:00 p.m. From 9:00 p.m to 6:00 a.m the cuckoo is in night mode and remains
silent.
- The mechanism is preset so that the cuckoo always comes out on the hour from
6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
- On the stroke of each hour the window opens automatically, the cuckoo comes out
and goes “cuckoo”; when fi nished the cuckoo goes back in and the window closes.
- The cuckoo goes “cuckoo” as many times as the hours that the hour hand shows.
For example, if it is5 p.m, the cuckoo will “cuckoo” 5 times.
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Insert 3 type “C” batteries paying attention to the correct orientation of the poles.
- Close the compartment.
- Set the the correct time by moving the hands clockwise.
- The cuckoo clock is set by default at 6:00 am. To adjust and make sure the correct
time strikes, press the white button on the back. In this way, the cuckoo comes out of
the window and will “cuckoo” 6 times (the cuckoo considers 6 in the morning). Once
out, press the white button as many times as the hours between 6 a.m and the time
you want to set. (Example: if it is 2 o’clock in the afternoon (14.00 hours) press the
button 8 times).
- Once adjusted, the cuckoo will come out of its window and will “cuckoo” as many
times as the hours.
- If you want to re-set the time, press the black button once. In this way, the cuckoo
clock goes back to default on 6:00 am. Now you can proceed with the procedure to
adjust the clock so that it sounds the correct time
- Adjust the volume with the relevant black wheel on the back of the clock on the left.
