When the
Device Manager
is viewed the PCI Quad Velocity R422/485 card
will appear under the
Multi-function adapters
branch. Also, four Velocity
RS485 Ports will appear under the
Ports (COM & LPT) branch.
For most users who have 4 or less COM ports the new ports will appear as
COM5-8 as pictured above, for users with more than 5 COM ports the new port
will appear as the first available COM ports.
Card Settings
Using the right-hand mouse button click on the
My Computer
icon on your
desktop.
Click on
Properties.
Click on the
Device Manager
tab
