USING YOUR TABLE BLENDER

BEFORE FIRST USE

1.

All parts of the Table Blender must be thoroughly cleaned before being used for the first time.

2.

Take out the required length of cable from the cable tidy on the stainless steel power base (9)
of the Table Blender and connect it to the mains electrical supply.

ASSEMBLING THE GLASS JUG

1.

Put the stainless steel power base (9) on a flat, dry table. Ensure that the speed setting is in
the 0 position and that the power cord is unplugged.

2.

Remove the jug lid (2) from the glass jug and place the jug upside down on a flat, dry table.

3.

Carefully place the seal ring of the blade unit (6) onto the glass jug edge. Ensure that the seal
ring is flat.

4.

Place the blade unit (7) inside the glass jug. Make sure that the flat side of unit (5) is pressed
into the seal ring of the blade unit (6).

5.

Use one hand to hold the jug handle and the other to turn the jug holder cover (8) clockwise to
close and secure the jug holder cover in place. Ensure that it is tight enough.

6.

Turn the assembled glass jug upright.

7.

Put the assembled glass jug on the stainless steel power base and place the jug lid (2) on top
of the glass jug (3).

8.

Insert the measuring cap (1) into the opening of the jug lid (2) and turn clockwise to lock.

INSTALLING THE GLASS JUG

1.

Place the glass jug (3) onto the stainless steel power base and turn it clockwise until it locks.

2.

Make sure the speed selector knob (12) is turned to the OFF position before plugging the
Table Blender into the mains electrical supply. The blue light around the speed selector knob
indicates that the Table Blender is connected to the mains supply.

3.

This Table Blender is equipped with a safety device and the blender does not operate if the
glass jug (3) is not fixed securely to the stainless steel power base.

4.

Place the food you wish to blend in the glass jug.

5.

First assemble the jug holder (5) onto the glass jug (3), then place the blade unit (7) into the
bottom of the glass jug (3). Ensure that the seal ring (6) is inserted onto the jug holder (5)
before you insert the blade unit (7).

6.

Fix the glass jug onto the stainless steel power base (9). Turn the speed selector knob (12) to
the ON position. The blue light around the speed selector knob that gets brighter indicates that
the Table Blender can now be used as normal.

the ON position and press one of the control buttons (13). The button will light up to indicate
the function that is operating.

8.

To select the speed, turn the speed selector knob between MIN (low power speed) and MAX (high
power speed) positions in order to achieve the required speed.

9.

Use the Table Blender for a maximum of 1 minute continuously and wait for 1 minute before
using again.

CONTROL BUTTONS

•

SMOOTHIE: The blade operates at a high speed for smooth blending.

•

GLACE PILEE (Ice): The blade operates at a high speed for 1 second and then shuts off for
0.5 seconds in order to crush ice perfectly.

•

TURBO: The Table Blender operates at high speed only when the TURBO button is pressed and
it stops once the button is released.

SPEED SELECTION

•

MIN: The blade operates at low speed.

•

MAX: The blade operates at high speed.

•

ON: The Table Blender is switched ON and the SMOOTHIE, GLACE PILEE and TURBO functions
can be used.

•

OFF: The Table Blender is switched OFF.

HINTS FOR BEST USE

1.

To achieve the best results when pureeing solid ingredients, place small portions into the glass
jug (3) instead of placing a large quantity into the jug all at once.

2.

If you are processing solid ingredients, cut them into small pieces (2-3cm) first.

3.

When mixing solid ingredients with liquids, start off by using a small quantity of liquid and
gradually add larger and larger quantities of liquid though the lid opening (2).

4.

Always place your hand on top of the Table Blender when you are operating the device. Be
careful when processing hot liquids.

5.

For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients we recommend that you use the Table Blender
in TURBO mode to prevent the blades (7) from becoming stuck.

handle anti-clockwise to remove the glass jug.

3.

Remove the jug lid from the glass jug.

4.

Place the glass jug upside down on a flat, dry table. Use one hand to hold the glass jug handle
and the other to turn the jug holder cover (8) anti-clockwise to open it.

5.

Once loose, carefully remove the blade unit (7). Caution! The blades inside the glass jug are
very sharp.

on low speed until the jug is clean.

2.

Clean the glass jug, lid (2), measuring cap (1) and blade unit with the seal ring (6) with hot
water and some cleaning agent. Dry before using.

Do not clean the stainless steel power base, power cord and plug with water. Wipe it with a
soft, moist cloth and some cleaning agent. Wipe with a dry cloth.
